2. Website delivery and hosting
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed. This includes your IP address, access time, requested URL, volume of data transferred, HTTP status and device, browser and, where applicable, referrer information transmitted by your browser. This data enables content delivery, fault detection and protection against abusive access.
We use Vercel for hosting and content delivery. Recipients of technical access data include Vercel Inc., USA, and the service providers involved in delivery. Further information is available in Vercel’s privacy notice and its Data Processing Addendum.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and efficient operation of this website. Technical data is retained only as long as necessary for its operational or security purpose. In specific security incidents, longer retention may be necessary for investigation and legal proceedings.
3. Processing outside the EU
Using Vercel may involve processing data in the USA or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Vercel’s contractual provisions include EU Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable transfers. You may request information about the safeguards and a copy of the relevant guarantees using the contact above. The contractual terms are available in the linked Data Processing Addendum.
4. Email contact
If you send us an email, we process your email address and the information you provide to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to your message.
Your information is deleted once the enquiry has been fully addressed and further retention is no longer necessary. Statutory retention obligations, particularly for business correspondence, remain unaffected. Providing your information is voluntary; without a reachable contact address we cannot respond to your enquiry.
5. Cookies, fonts and media
This portfolio’s own code uses no analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels or visitor analytics. No profile information is stored in your browser to display our content. If you select a language, we save only this preference (DE or EN) in your browser’s local storage so it is retained across pages and future visits. You can change it using the language switch or remove it by clearing the website’s browser data.
Fonts, JavaScript libraries, images and the image sequence for the scroll-driven animation are delivered from our own website. These resources do not require separate requests to Google Fonts, unpkg, YouTube or Vimeo. Hosting processes the connection data described in section 2.
6. Links to other websites
Links to 11COACH and other external services are ordinary links. The respective service is accessed only when you open a link. Its own privacy notice applies to its data processing. This notice does not cover use of the 11COACH app.
7. Your rights
Subject to statutory conditions, you have the right to access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Please contact us at the email address above.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Rhineland-Palatinate this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz. Your right to complain to another competent supervisory authority remains unaffected.
8. Security and updates
